What You'll Do:
As an integral part of a well-established and highly successful Nutrien Ag Solutions Insurance division, this role is responsible for servicing and growing our rural insurance portfolio with the support of our industry partners. Working across our Bombala and Cooma branches, you’ll be on the road connecting with rural clients and building long-term relationships across the region. The focus of your role will include:
- Working closely with rural clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate insurance meetings and grow the existing insurance portfolio
- Providing a high level of client service to build strong, long-lasting local relationships
- Managing client insurance accounts including renewals, claims, policy documentation and general enquiries
- Identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services during the renewal process
- Achieving budgeted revenue targets through retention and growth of existing and new business
- Ongoing policy maintenance and portfolio management
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate:
- Experience working in an insurance brokerage environment, ideally in a client-facing or portfolio management role
- Alternatively, experience in banking, financial services, or on-the-road sales, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in insurance
- FSR Tier 1 qualification (or willingness to obtain if coming from a related industry background)
- Proven ability to build rapport, manage client relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating across a broader business network
