Sales Support Livestock & Administration

We are a stock and station agency founded in 1981, servicing clients right across Southern NSW and North East Victoria and we pride ourselves on providing high levels of personal service.

In 2018 we partnered with Nutrien Ag Solutions, Australia's largest pastoral house with over 180 years of experience in the agriculture industry.

We are currently seeking a super-efficient Sales Support Livestock & Administration professional to join our team based at our Albury branch.   

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Branch Managers and working as part of a young and energetic livestock team, this role is responsible for providing administration support, marketing and you the opportunity to assist with livestock handling.

You will:

• Assist in performing saleyard administrative tasks including livestock entries, clerking, reconciling, and price reporting.  

• Assist with yarding, penning and drafting of livestock at the saleyards, in a fast-paced environment. 
• Liaise with Saleyard Operators, Agents and Clients to ensure compliance and the smooth running of sales.
• Provide marketing support to Agents including print, online and social media content for Saleyard and AuctionsPlus livestock sales.
• Proactive forward planning. 

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. You will be required to have some basic livestock handling experience. In addition, you will demonstrate:

• A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term relationships
• Problem solving skills to resolve issues promptly
• Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Applications and Social Media platforms & the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Time Flexible
• Experience handling livestock
