What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
- Performing branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, stock control, ordering, receipting
- Maintaining our finance accounts and identifying opportunities
- Assist customers with animal health advice and on farm services
- Assist customers with pricing and product queries
- Processing counter sales and assisting our broader sales team
- Maintaining safety processes within the branch
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
- Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Current drivers license
- Forklift license/ticket preferred but not essential
- Available to work Saturday morning’s from 9am – 12pm on a rotating roster (approx. 1 Saturday every 5 weeks)
