Merchandise Sales Support

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Merchandise Sales Support to join the team in Castletown.

 

About the Opportunity:

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers.

Tasks will be varied, and your attitude will be paramount, with flexibility a must! You will also be responsible for delivering orders to our valued customers, so holding an HR Truck Licence would be advantageous, but not mandatory. You will be required to obtain this Licence once you commence employment with us.

About the Role:

 

  • ·     Delivery of exceptional customer service, operating registers, sales order administration, replenishing products, preparing orders for delivery, promotions, and store merchandising.
  • ·        You will respond promptly to pricing and product queries, resolve issues to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction whilst delivering a welcoming, friendly, and well-maintained store environment.
  • ·        Deliver orders to our customer’s workplaces and properties.

About you:

 

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and have an interest in the agriculture industry. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • ·        Experience working within a sales environment.
  • ·        Effective verbal communications skills.
  • ·        A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
  • ·        Excellent attention to detail.
  • ·        Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • ·        Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes.
  • ·        Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
