The industries which benefit from our expertise include agriculture, turf, mining & drilling, water treatment, civil construction, plumbing trades, home improvement and DIY. 

We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a Branch Manager to lead the team at our Cohuna branch.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Operational Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for the day-to-day sales and operations management of the branch team and for maintaining, managing and growing the profitability while ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met.

The primary objective of the role is to grow and protect the branch with a focus on meeting financial, compliance, safety and staff development.  The role will also be responsible for fabrication sales and inventory management.  Other objectives of the position are:

• Strategy & Business Development - Implement and execute agreed strategies by aligning resources to deliver financial and productivity targets as defined by the budget process
• Compliance - Implement and execute initiatives to achieve compliance expectations
• Capability - Implement people capability initiatives to deliver long term financial growth and improve staff retention

To be successful you will have:

• Demonstrated management and leadership skills
• Excellent business acumen with a strategic mindset
• The desire to be hands on with an energetic self-motivated outlook
• Demonstrated people management
• Experience in irrigation or engineering will be extremely advantageous
• A current full unrestricted driver’s license
• Demonstrated experience in a sales or retail management role
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management or Engineering is preferred but not essential
