Casual Fertiliser / Delivery Driver

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support Merchandise to join our Dalby branch to help drive instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products. 

About the Opportunity:

We specialise in all aspects of the fertiliser & merchandise market for our customer base of local farmers, primary producers and trade customers. Reporting to the branch manager, the position has a focus on delivering a quality service and ensuring each employee operates safely and efficiently to achieve business objectives. You will work in our fertiliser plant and assist with on farm deliveries when required. 

Tasks are varied and you will be actively engaged in all aspects of operation from; fertiliser blending, unloading trucks, stock control, preparing orders for delivery, communication with agronomists and other branch staff, forecasting of inventory, and overseeing sales orders. During peak seasons, this is a fast-paced position which requires flexibility in working hours.

About you:

You will have a strong work ethic, positive approach and the ability to work in a team and at times on your own. 

Ideally you will have previous exposure to warehousing, logistics and supply chain, ideally gained from the farming and agriculture industry.  You will need to understand farmers and the seasonal conditions, have teamwork skills, and are keen to learn all aspects of fertiliser preparation, application and safe handling procedures. 

A current driver’s license, forklift and HR license is essential. A HC license is an advantage. Ideally you’re an allrounder you can help with an array of branch tasks. This might include: seed mixing, delivery driving and providing thorough customer service.
