What You'll Do:
- Implement the merchandise strategy within the branch and effectively manage merchandise support functions
- Manage inventory levels, stockturn and margins while supporting sales activity and customer demand
- Oversee stock control, stocktakes, pricing accuracy, price book maintenance and management of discrepancies or obsolete stock
- Set and maintain standards for store presentation, merchandise displays, promotional activity and customer service
- Plan and execute sales, merchandising marketing and promotional campaigns to support business growth
- Coach and develop merchandise support and administration teams while championing safety, compliance and company standards
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in merchandise, retail, branch operations or agricultural sales leadership, with an understanding of inventory, pricing and margin management
- Commercial acumen across stock management, budgeting, GP, profit contribution, expense control and inventory turns
- Customer focus with the ability to build relationships, identify sales opportunities and support cross-selling across the branch
- Experience using SAP and Fiori, or similar systems, to manage pricing, stock, reporting and transactions
- Agsafe accreditation, forklift licence and knowledge of hazardous substance requirements are highly regarded but not mandatory
