An exciting opportunity now exists for a relationship and target driven Business Manager to lead our National Plant Nutrition Sales team

 

Reporting to the Vice-President, Loveland Products, the Business Manager, will be responsible to manage and expand our business operations within Australia.  The primary objective for the Business Manager will be to drive sales growth and market share of Loveland Products’ biostimulant, nutritional, and adjuvant portfolio through effective sales strategies, both short and long term, as well as relationship building and market analysis.  This position will work closely with in-country management and commercial teams as well as the global commercial and innovation leads.


Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans and strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives to achieve projected 5 year growth.
  • Provides leadership, direction and coaching to Loveland Products and commercial teams in the development, implementation, and execution of Loveland Products sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets and ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, as well as internal, external and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead the product lifecycle management, which includes the product development and project management of the process from formulation through to commercialization and subsequent brand consolidation.
  • Lead the product management of the portfolio which includes forecasting and pricing through to supply chain and manufacturing.
  • Lead the creation of brand support collateral, promotional support campaigns, and multi-channel marketing touch points. 
  • Oversee all aspects of human resources including hiring, promoting, training and development, performance management and coaching within company policy and regulatory compliance – partnering with HR, as needed
  • Lead and perform work the Nutrien Way – engaging in corporate, policies, programs and practices, including SH&E regulations and standards, to bring our Culture of Care to life

 

 

About You:

  • Demonstrated success in a Sales Leadership role in an Ag-related field
  • Well-rounded knowledge of agricultural products and practices
  • Significant experience managing a team with demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop others.
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time within Australia; international travel may be required on occasion.
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented
  • Excellent relationship building ability with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The highest ethical standards and sense of accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel
  • Must hold a full unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
