We currently have an opportunity for a Claims Manager to support the Victorian Insurance team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work as part of a successful team and to be encouraged and supported to build upon your existing skills.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Region Insurance Manager, the focus of this role is to manage the claims portfolio including administration and processing of claims documentation as well as overseeing the claim team where appropriate.

 In addition to other ad hoc tasks, you will: 

• Liaise with Insurance Brokers, Insurers, third party claims assessors and clients regarding lodgment and ongoing management of the claim, right through to settlement.
• Establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers, including the ability to create brand new relationships where required.
• Develop and maintain a technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance and specialist services which Nutrien offers to its clients.
• Maintain awareness of insurer escalation points and escalate matters when necessary.
• Be aware of changing market conditions and understand impacts to improve standards to better serve clients.

  About You:

• Previous general claims management experience
• A self-starter, who can work unsupervised, with a hands-on approach to your work
• Have a high attention to detail
• Deliver great customer service and be able to confidently liaise with our customers and manage stakeholder expectations
• Possess proficiency with IT Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
