What You'll Do:
An exciting opportunity awaits for a motivated student or recent graduate to join Nutrien Ag Solutions for an 8–16-month term, gaining hands-on experience with a global technology team and contributing to impactful projects. You’ll:
- Application development, unit test, and deployment of custom digital web apps hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Participate in the design, building, and maintenance of software modules
- Shadow senior developers as they evaluate technologies and design for enterprise scalability, performance, and optimization
- Build working knowledge about responsive React front ends and, leading serverless technologies (such as Lambda and DynamoDB) and micro-service-based architectures
- Actively work with or in other roles in an enterprise agile delivery team, including project managers, business analysts, QA, application developers, and UX/UI designers
- Work with other IT teams – such as infrastructure, cyber security, and data services/analytics
- Learn AWS, React, TypeScript, C#, Splunk, GitHub, Jira, and many other technologies
What You'll Bring:
- Completed a minimum of 1 year in a Computer Science-related program at an accredited post-secondary institution (e.g., university, polytechnic, college)
- Curious mindset to investigate business needs or opportunities to leverage technology or digital solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams in Australia & North-America
