About the Opportunities:

We have a 12 month maximum term contract for a logistics and customer focused coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the successful operation of our business, and we are looking for an exceptional communicator with high-level interpersonal skills that thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.   

Day to day responsibilities within this role are:

• Review and coordinate transport movements to ensure safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution of freight.

• Liaising and communicating with our customers and third-party providers to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

• Ensure all transport service level agreements are met.

• Problem solving and exception management.

• Liaising with freight providers and reviewing quotes to obtain the best deals in terms of price, efficiency, and quality of services provided.

• Receiving and processing freight invoices for coordinated movements ensuring to cross reference with accruals and query discrepancies.

• Organising general freight consolidation, route planning and assessment of routes

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have a sound understanding of the transport & logistics industry and experience in a similar role. In addition, you will demonstrate:

• Exceptional customer, stakeholder, communication, negotiation and influencing skills

• Ability to build professional relationships

• Strong commercial acumen and awareness

• Understanding of dangerous goods movements

• Sound understanding of Transport Management Systems

• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Knowledge of safety processes and procedures
