We are looking for an effective and proven leader to drive this business-critical division.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the national plant nutrition manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Identify, develop and successfully implement strategies that will improve the relationship, market position and perception of Nutrien Ag Solutions in the market
• Negotiate profitable and improved trading arrangements with key suppliers
• Manage opportunities in the proprietary segment
• Ensure data files are correctly maintained, including pricing, rebates and margins.
• Identify, develop and successfully implement strategies that will work towards continuous improvement
• Management risk associated with domestic & international commodity markets.
• Provide senior executives with timely reports detailing key business indicators performance.

What you will bring:

• Experience & understanding of the specialty fertiliser market from sourcing through to field application
• Proven inventory management
• Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Well-developed strategic and analytical skills
• Strong influencing skills
• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients at all touch points
• Tertiary qualifications is Ag Science or similar desirable, but not mandatory
