About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced L&D professional to join our HR team at Nutrien.
Reporting into the Global Lead, Employee Development and Learning, you will assist in the implementation of the employee development strategy, specifically managing and facilitating our Corporate L&D programs, particularly in Sales, Leadership and Personal Skill Development (for example time management, emotional intelligence, communication skills).
The role will require frequent travel to various locations across Australia to facilitate training to both our Corporate Offices and branch networks.
You will be customer and solutions focused and have a passion for creating learning content that incorporates best practice and provides the best possible user experience.
This will be delivered through the following:
- Working alongside key stakeholders to understand, develop and deliver upon learning solutions to build employee capability.
- Delivery of national programs particularly in Sales and Leadership.
- Building of learning solutions using the SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) as the focal data collection point.
- Measurement of ROI and introduction of best practice learning solutions.
- The location of this role is flexible depending on the location of the successful candidate, however, to fulfill the travel requirements of the role, proximity to a major Australian airport is essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in leadership or sales roles, with a minimum of two years of related learning and development/ training experience in leadership and sales programs.
- Knowledge of or exposure to the agriculture industry would be considered an asset
- Hold a Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design process, learning evaluation and methods for measuring learning outcomes and demonstrated success in designing, delivering, and managing learning programs.
- Certifications in training tools such as - e.g., DiSC, Emotional Intelligence (or willingness to obtain).
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to design training solutions and roadmaps to execute against business needs.
- Business partnering ability and experience in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders through a consultative decision-making process and ability to demonstrate flexibility in adapting to change.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.
- Full unrestricted driver’s licence and proximity to a major Australian airport is essential.
