We’re now seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Australian tax leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact role within a complex, large‑scale organisation, where you’ll influence strategy, lead people, and modernise tax processes using technology and smarter ways of working.

You’ll work closely with the Australia Head of Taxation, partner with the broader business, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

What You'll Do:
As Tax Manager, you will co‑lead the Australian tax function with responsibility across direct and indirect taxes, tax transformation, and M&A advisory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Â
- Australian and New Zealand indirect tax compliance, including preparation and management of GST and FBT returns and monthly reporting and proactively identify/manage associated tax issues arising from day-to-day operations and projects
- Co‑lead Australian and New Zealand income tax compliance and reporting
- Ensure robust tax effect accounting, disclosures and controls
- Provide tax advisory support on acquisitions, disposals, restructures and special projects
- Support strategically important joint ventures and manage JV tax compliance
- Lead responses to tax audits and revenue authority reviews
- Co-lead in the redesign and transformation of tax compliance and reporting processes
- Drive technology implementation to improve efficiency, accuracy and governance
- Lead, coach and develop a team of tax professionals
- Foster a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business

What You'll Bring:
- Significant relevant experience in Australian tax, gained in a large corporate or top‑tier tax advisory environment at a managerial level
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and sound New Zealand tax experience
- Proven experience across income tax, GST and FBT
- Experience leading or contributing to tax transformation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Law
- CA, CPA or legal qualification
