What You'll Do:

As a Trust Administration Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of trust accounting and property-related financial processes. Your work will help maintain compliance with legislation, support property managers, and keep operations running smoothly across multiple states.

 

  • Daily and monthly reconciliations of each of the State Trust bank accounts are completed accurately
  • Ensure that direct deposit receipts for tenants are raised daily
  • Create and release property sale deposits within Property Tree as required
  • Pay external commissions from property sale deposits as required
  • Arrange for investment of deposits as requested
  • Ensure that all State Trust legislations are adhered to and ensure yearly audits are completed without issue
  • Complete monthly disbursement of Landlords and creditors for individual States as required
  • Ensure all real estate sales are entered at branch level, settled in Vault RE and that Property Managers are correctly using Property Tree and Vault RE
  • Complete and process all rental information ensuring that all real estate commissions are accurately recorded in Nutrien’s Profit & Loss statement
  • Reconcile and pay the Harcourts monthly fee for all sales settled by Nutrien and agreed back

What You'll Bring:

  • You are organised, think outside of the box and are an expert problem solver
  • Ideally 2 years previous experience in real estate accounting and administration
  • A sound knowledge of general ledger and bank reconciliation processes
  • A certificate/degree in accounting/finance is highly desirable
  • Comfortable with SAP accounting system and experience with real estate management system Property Tree and Vault RE is advantageous
