A typical day may look like:
Suiting an early career agronomist or animal production specialist this role will support the sustainability team to develop and implement sustainability programs. Working with the commercial sustainability team, you will:
- Work with farmers & growers implementing sustainability programs.
- Improve on-farm environmental performance and productivity through Nutrien Ag solutions sustainability offerings.
- Provide support on designing, planning and implementing sustainability programs.
- Develop sustainability-focused materials for distribution across the Nutrien network.
- Providing support to the Nutrien Ag Solutions branch network upon launch of sustainability solutions.
- Use your scientific and analytical skills to become a SME & support our sustainability consultants.
- Represent Nutrien Ag Solutions at various industry and network events.
- Additional Ad Hoc duties as directed by the sustainability team.
A little about you:
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in agriculture, sustainability or a related field, with a strong scientific background. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- An understanding of the Australian agricultural industry.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills.
- Effective presentation skills, with the ability to influence and train others.
- Efficient organisation and priority management skills.
- Critical thinking and data analysis skills.
The successful candidate will be required to travel, therefore a current driver’s licence is required.
