What we’ll love about you:

 

To be successful you will have full working rights within Australia and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an agronomy position ideally within a commercial environment. In addition, you will also bring with you:

 

Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application ideally with experience in summer crops. History of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products  You will demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills. A driver’s licence is critical.

 

 

About the role:

As a Senior Agronomist at our Forbes, New South Wales branch, you will provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales both in store and on farm.  You will join a team of 8 branch team members passionate about providing first-class customer service and advancing the agricultural industry into the future.

 

 

What you’ll be doing:

Service our key agronomy clients & mentor the junior agronomists in our team Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers and who have significant experience partnering with producers Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises You will provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales both in store and on farm.  Keeping relevant with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings will position you as the go-to subject matter expert in the region for Summer cropping agronomic inputs and other advice. Crops include rice and cotton.
