Great Northern Rural Services has been in operation for 30 years and has recently become a joint venture partner with Nutrien Ag Solutions. Our team are experts in a range of different farming areas, including animal health, crop production, general merchandise, horticulture & water transfer.

About the Opportunities:
 

You will focus on developing strong customer relationships and provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:

• Performing branch administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting & expenses.
• Maintaining our customer accounts and identifying opportunities.
• Assist customers with pricing and product queries.
• Processing counter sales and assisting our broader sales team.
• Maintaining safety processes within the branch.

What we’ll love about you:
 

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
 

• A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes.
• Current driver’s license.
• Forklift licence or willing to obtain.
• Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quickly.
