About the role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers, with your role centred on delivering a memorable customer experience either in-store or over the phone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, accurate receival and dispatch of goods
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
- Processing counter sales and maintaining safety processes
- Supporting merchandise campaign activities
- Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
- Unpacking orders and deliveries, packing products away on shelves and in relevant storage areas.
- Delivering customer orders
Open to school-aged students
In addition to experienced candidates, we’re also open to recruiting school-aged students who are looking to work after school, Saturday mornings or during school holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student interested in agriculture to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and build a pathway towards a future career in ag.
What we’ll love about you
We are keen to hear from applicants who are customer service focused, attentive to detail, and proactive in problem-solving. If you are a school student, no prior industry experience is required – we value enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
For all applicants, you may have:
- A valid Driver’s Licence and Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience in a sales environment
- Strong communication skills to build long-term customer relationships
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
