We have an exciting 15-month Parental Leave Part time (Mondays & Tuesdays) opportunity for a sales superstar to join our Keith team.

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:

  • Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, banking, receipting, and dispatching of goods
  • Assisting customers with pricing and product queries and processing counter sales
  • Maintaining safety processes
  • Assisting with merchandise campaign material
  • Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
  • Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries

What You'll Bring:

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment.  You’ll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working within a sales environment.
  • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
  • A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • A current driver’s license is essential.
  • Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
