What You'll Do:

When you join our Nutrien team in Kilmore as a Casual Sales Merchandise, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:

• Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
• Processing counter sales and assisting customers with pricing and product queries  
• Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
• Maintaining safety processes
• Assisting with merchandise campaign material
• Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
• Occasional on-farm deliveries

What You'll Bring:

• Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
• Experience working within a sales environment and a passion for agriculture is highly desirable
• Available to work 2-5 days per week
• A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
• Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
• Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• A current driver’s license is essential, and a forklift ticket is highly advantageous, and you must be willing to obtain
