A typical day may look like:

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and is rural focused with the focus of your role being able to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or on the farm. 

• Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching and unpacking orders and deliveries
• Complete deliveries in our company vehicles, HR truck and utility vehicles
• Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, receipting, and dispatching of goods
• Processing counter sales
• Maintaining safety processes
• Assisting with merchandise team in daily operations
• Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented warehouse and store environment

About you:

• You will have an HR licence and forklift licence or willing to obtain.  
• Ideally you will have exposure to or have a keen interest in farming and the agriculture industry with the desire to learn about new products
• You will be a self-motivated person capable of helping to nurture and sustain strong customer relationships with the ability to follow through and “get the job done” in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work autonomously as well as being part of a team and having the ability to take direction well
• You will be keen to learn all aspects of retail sales operations or perhaps have previous experience
