What You'll Do:
The focus of this role is to contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results and to deliver insightful reporting and analysis for management decision making. Your key responsibilities include:
- Month-end & year-end close, P&L, Margin, Balance Sheet, Working Capital analysis.
- Results analysis and commentary to identify key drivers of business performance.
- Business partnering - supporting specific areas of the business with reporting and analysis and the preparation of their annual budget.
- Accounting for profit and loss and balance sheet accounts including preparation of monthly journals and general ledger reconciliations.
- Provide information to assist with completion of compliance requirements and audits.
- Lead fixed assets stocktake for region.
- Support relevant Divisional Admin Managers in performing required controls and procedures across their branches.
- Management of Division (branch) inventory stocktake.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal reporting controls and procedures.
- Management of Unmatched PO Purge Requests.
- Ad hoc work as directed by management.
What You'll Bring:
To be successful, you must demonstrate previous management or financial accounting experience and possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build solid relationships across our network. In addition, you will also demonstrate:
- Degree in a business-oriented discipline
- CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
- 3-4 years’ experience in an accounting role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- Experience with the Microsoft suite in particular Microsoft Excel
- Time management skills.
