We are currently offering a great opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our Nutrien Water Engineering Malaga, WA team.
 

At Nutrien, we are committed to providing you with training and career development opportunities. We are offering a long-term career opportunity, supporting you to study a Certificate 3 in Mechanical Trade Fitting. 
 

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, In conjunction with your studies you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of machinery both out on site & in the workshop. You shall have an interest in Machining, fitting & CNC machine operations & keen to learn a multi facet business.
 

In addition, you will:
 

• Assist with diagnosing and repairing system faults.
• Keep records and ensure that activities are completed to deadline and job sheet requirements.

• Assist with safe installation of all components required such as all types of pumping systems, machinery, pipe work including commissioning and trouble shooting.  

About You:

To be successful you must have:
 

• Completed minimum year 10 in secondary education
• A can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail
• A desire to learn an understand mechanical systems.
• Class C drivers’ licence (Minimum).
• Forklift ticket (Desirable).
• Your own reliable transport.
