The industries which benefit from our expertise include agriculture, turf, mining & drilling, water treatment, civil construction, plumbing trades, and residential homeowners.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will work as part of a team with a primary focus on safe work practices in all daily tasks, whether that be in field maintenance, the workshop or branch environment.
About the opportunity:
To be successful in this role you will:
- Provide in field service and maintenance to Iron Filtration equipment.
- Conduct repairs, both within a workshop environment or on-site as necessary, and provide field support to our clients.
- Perform routine maintenance of general water-related items such as pumps, Mag flow meters and general water transmission equipment.
- Importantly, you will contribute to the maintenance of a safe workplace, inclusive of the safe operation of company plant and equipment.
About You:
With previous experience within the water/irrigation industry you will ideally come with:
- Extensive experience in irrigation/plumbing, with iron filter system experience extremely advantageous.
- Ability to work alone or within a team.
- Travel will be required at times for projects, so Driver’s Licence is essential.
- A current White Card & Forklift Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in a Field Services position.
- Knowledge of water systems.
- A MR/HR Licences will be highly regarded but not essential.
- An Excavator &/or Bobcat tickets will be a bonus but not mandatory.
- A Restricted Electrical licence would also be advantageous.
