What You'll Do:

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll build strong, long-term customer relationships across our diverse customer base—including local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. Your focus is to deliver an exceptional experience every time, whether you’re assisting customers in-store or over the phone, while:

 

  • Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
  • Processing livestock sales / Stud stock sales
  • Administrative support for finance clients & finance facilities
  • Assisting customers with pricing and product queries 
  • Processing counter sales 
  • Maintaining safety processes
  • Assisting with merchandise campaign material 
  • Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
  • Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries

What You'll Bring:

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring proven experience supporting a team in a busy, customer-focused environment. You’re passionate about Australian farming and agriculture, and ideally you’ll have knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. You’ll also demonstrate:

 

  • Experience working within a sales environment 
  • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
  • A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes 
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A current driver’s license is essential,
  • Truck and a forklift ticket is advantageous
