What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Landscape Maintenance Project Manager you will assist with day to day landscaping operations, Including:
- Landscape Maintenance
• Regular maintenance including pruning of trees and shrubs and mulching garden beds.
• Lawn mowing tasks and manual weeding
• Spreading and application of mulches and soils
• Application of liquid and granular fertiliser including herbicides and pesticides for weed and pest control based on soil and leaf analysis
• Operating small equipment and hand tools to undertake maintenance tasks including but not limited to: hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, whipper snippers and edgers - Landscape Construction
• Preparation of planting sites prior to carrying out planting works, including but not limited to trees and bushes in accordance with the landscape plans.
• Preparing lawn and turf area’s prior to planting grass or laying turf
• Selection of plants and materials required for construction projects
• Undertake various soft and hard landscaping activities, including installation of hardscapes.
• Setting out, preparing, compacting and installing paved and concrete foot paths using gravel, stone and concrete.
• Planning and installation of retaining walls using pillar and post (ie wood and concrete) and limestone blocks
• Planning and installation of steel garden edging
• Operation of brick saws, compactors and chain saws to undertake construction tasks. - Irrigation Installation & Maintenance
• Install commercial irrigation systems, including pumps, valves, pipework and sprinkler systems.
What You'll Bring:
To be successful, it is desirable if you can demonstrate:
- Herbicide License (desirable)
- White Card
- Experience in gardening or labouring is desirable, however training will be provided to the right candidate
- Strong communication & time management skills
- Motivated positive attitude with a proactive approach
A Clean and current Driver’s license is essential for this role.

$75,000 - $80,000 plus super
