We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support & Administrator to join our Nyngan branch to help drive instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products and support with day to day administration of the branch.

A typical day may look like:

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:

 

  • Assisting customers with pricing and product queries 
  • Processing sales both in store and on farm
  • General sales administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
  • Liaising with regional agronomists and clients
  • Operating soil sample equipment and using software for sample collection and testing
  • Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries

 

 

What we’ll love about you:

 

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support/sales role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
  • Current driver’s licence and forklift ticket is advantageous or must be willing to obtain.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quickly
