We’re now seeking an experienced Agribusiness Manager for our Pingelly branch, to play a pivotal role in driving customer excellence, commercial performance and team capability in a thriving regional community.
What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving strong performance across merchandise, customer service and operations. You’ll lead by example, ensuring strong commercial outcomes, and build trusted relationships with customers and team members alike. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Lead and embed high-quality customer service standards across the branch
- Drive merchandise strategy, inventory and pricing management.
- Coordinate sales, operational strategies and local campaigns to maximise growth
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers and proactively identify new opportunities
- Coach and develop team members, building capability and succession
- Actively participate in business planning, budgeting and financial performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with EH&S standards, company policies and relevant legislation
- Maintain a safe, professional and well-presented branch environment at all times
What You'll Bring:
- Proven sales experience in agribusiness or rural merchandise (3–5 years preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive inventory turns and profitability
- Confident leadership skills
- Solid understanding of local agricultural markets and customer needs
- Certificate in Agriculture (Rural Merchandising) or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
- Agsafe Accreditation and demonstrated OH&S knowledge
- Current driver’s licence and forklift licence
- Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
