Support in leading our Quilpie branch in this opportunity which is perfectly suited to an individual with a strong business acumen and looking to step into a leadership role, or an individual with a background in leading a team and managing sales performance.

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The sales of rural merchandise, such as Agricultural chemicals, Animal health, Animal Management, Fencing, Water equipment and General Merchandise. 
  • The associated management of this inventory including forecasting and planning, procurement and ordering, sales processing, logistics, stock controls and stocktakes.
  • You will work closely with management and other sales team members to fulfil the needs and requirements of our clients and customers in a proactive and professional capacity.
  • Working alongside supplier representatives to deliver value and solutions to our clients and customers, implementing marketing initiatives, with the aim of growing our business.  You will analyse market trends, climatic and seasonable considerations to ensure Nutrien Ag Solutions is first choice service, advice and solutions.

 

About You:

A broad knowledge of the products and services required for the pastoral industry is a requirement for the role and a merchandise sales background would be preferred but not essential. You will be self-motivated and driven to implement improvements in all areas of store operations. You will demonstrate success developing solid long-term partnerships with clients and other key stakeholders and be able to identify opportunities to develop new business.  A full drivers’ licence is required.
