What You'll Do:

 
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting both our merchandise and livestock operations. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll deliver exceptional service, assist local producers with their merchandise and livestock needs, provide administrative and operational support, and contribute to the success of a busy and well-established rural branch. In addition you will: 
 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to merchandise and livestock clients
  • Assist customers with product enquiries, orders and account transactions
  • Support livestock administration activities, including sale documentation and processing
  • Coordinate stock receivals, inventory management and merchandising activities
  • Assist with loading and unloading stock and maintaining branch presentation
  • Provide administrative support to the livestock and merchandise teams
  • Build strong relationships with local producers and suppliers
  • Support branch operations and contribute to a positive team culture

What You'll Bring:

 

You enjoy working with people, have a strong attention to detail and are passionate about agriculture and rural communities.

 

  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, retail, livestock, agriculture or a related industry
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of rural products and livestock services
  • Good computer and data entry skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Current driver's licence (essential)
  • Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
