About the role:

As an Agronomist at our Robertson branch you’ll see yourself join a collaborative team of hard-working professionals dedicated to forming strong and genuine relationships with growers and customers in this diverse agricultural region with a focus on helping increase their yield. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Service growers across this diverse agricultural area of the NSW and surrounding Robertson region
  • Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers and who have significant experience partnering with producers
  • Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises
  • You will provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales both in store and on farm. 
  • Keeping relevant with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings will position you as the go-to subject matter expert in the region. 

 

What we’ll love about you:

To be successful you will have full working rights within Australia and a wealth of experience in a similar agronomy position ideally within a commercial environment. In addition, you will also bring with you:

  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application.
  • History of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products 
  • You will demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • A driver’s licence is critical.
