We are seeking a full-time Sales Support Merchandise and Delivery Driver to join our Rockhampton team. This opportunity will suit a dependable, experienced operator who brings sound judgement, a strong customer focus and a disciplined approach to safety, service and day-to-day branch operations.

 

About the Opportunity: 

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a hands-on role with broad responsibility across branch support, customer service, stock handling and local deliveries. It is well suited to someone who takes pride in high standards, works with initiative and can be relied upon to contribute to safe, efficient, and well-organised branch performance.

 

  • Manage truck loading and unloading activities and accurately dispatch, unpack, and check incoming orders and deliveries
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service across local deliveries, counter sales, stock management and order preparation
  • Participate in inventory control tasks including receival and dispatch of goods
  • Maintain disciplined safety practices and consistently follow site procedures and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to a constructive team environment through collaboration, reliability, and a professional approach
  • Work proactively to plan and prioritise tasks so customer requirements and operational deadlines are met

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • A proven commitment to workplace safety and a responsible approach to maintaining safe practices for yourself and others
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management, stock control, and day-to-day branch or warehouse operations
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to remain organised under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Well-developed communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
  • A current driver’s licence and HR licence are essential; a forklift ticket and HC licence will be viewed favourably
