What You'll Do:
Â
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a hands‑on and varied role supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our Windsor branch. You’ll play a key part in delivering excellent customer service and supporting branch operations. No two days are the same, and your contribution will help ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of the branch.
Â
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading trucks, and receipting, dispatching and unpacking stock and deliveries
- Providing customer service, including counter sales and sales order processing
- Completing branch administration tasks such as stock control, ordering, invoicing and receipting
- Maintaining accurate records, data entry, and system updates
- Assisting with inventory management, stocktakes and price checks
- Preparing customer orders and maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards
- Supporting general office and branch operations as required
- Following and maintaining safety procedures at all times
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Previous experience working within a customer service/sales environmentÂ
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Strong Excellent attention to detail
- Solid problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A current driver’s license is essential
- A forklift ticket is advantageousÂ
