 Welcome to DLS

With specialist dairy professionals based throughout Eastern Australian dairy regions, Dairy Livestock Services (DLS) is the industry’s leading dairy livestock team. Our people, led by Australasia’s leading dairy auctioneer Brian Leslie, live and breathe dairy. We are hands-on, locally connected, and passionate about supporting farmers and communities.

Strategically located in key dairy regions, our team brings deep expertise and genuine care to everything we do. DLS is a division of Nutrien Ag Solutions, a joint venture combining the strength of Landmark Operations Limited and Ruralco Holdings Limited.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Administration Officer to join our Shepparton team. This role supports the day-to-day operations of our livestock activity, including processing cattle and sheep sales, assisting with client inquiries, and providing on-site support at auctions and clearing sales.

You will be part of a close-knit team that values reliability, initiative, and a strong connection to the dairy industry. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly and want to be part of a business that supports local farmers, this could be the role for you.

A typical day may look like:

  • Processing livestock sales and clearing sale transactions
  • Assisting clients with livestock payments and general inquiries
  • Attending dairy auctions and sales to provide on-site administration support (some travel required)
  • Uploading sale information to the DLS website and sending updates to clients
  • Handling general administration tasks such as banking, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Supporting the livestock team with marketing tools, reports, and finance leads
  • Uploading NLIS devices and maintaining compliance records

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in an office or administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally
  • A team player who is happy to support wherever needed
  • Experience handling livestock or working in rural or agricultural settings is a bonus

Why join DLS?

  • Competitive salary package
  • Incentive programs
  • Purchased leave scheme
  • Nutrien Day – an extra day off
  • Gender-neutral parental leave
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Supportive team culture
  • Opportunities to support local communities
  • Be part of a business committed to feeding the future

At DLS, you will be part of a team that values integrity, safety, and results. We are proud of our strong rural roots and our commitment to supporting Australian dairy farmers. We are looking for someone who shares that passion.
