BR&C is a local business founded in Swan Hill in 1987 by Malcolm Brady and Ian Runciman as a livestock agency. Today, BR&C has grown into a diversified agricultural services business supporting rural producers across North Western Victoria, the NSW Riverina and Western NSW, with a team specialising in livestock, agronomy, merchandise sales, real estate, water trading, finance and insurance.
What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the branch while building strong customer relationships with local farmers, primary producers and trade customers.
- Assist customers with product questions and pricing, providing clear and friendly service in-store and by phone.
- Manage SAP, inwards goods, pricing, inventory, ordering, deliveries and dispatches to keep stock accurate and moving.
- Process counter sales accurately, handle payments, and answer customer inquiries.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Support promotional activities, setting up signage and displays to boost product visibility.
- Keep the store tidy and welcoming and greet all customers warmly.
- Load/unload trucks, unpack deliveries, and prepare orders for dispatch with care.
- Occasionally deliver products directly to farms, ensuring timely and professional service.
What You'll Bring:
- Exposure to agriculture, or a genuine interest in the industry and willingness to learn about new products.
- Experience in retail sales or customer service will be highly regarded.
- A self-motivated approach, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales, with confidence using computer systems such as SAP.
- A current driver’s licence is required, along with a forklift ticket or willingness to obtain one.
