This is an exciting opportunity for a recent agriculture graduate to begin their career in agribusiness, with a focus on merchandise and fertiliser management. The successful candidate will participate in a structured development program designed to build their knowledge and skills across all facets of rural merchandise operations within a leading rural reseller environment.
You will gain experience in:
- Product knowledge across crop protection, fertiliser, seed, animal health, and general merchandise
- Inventory and supply chain management
- Customer service and sales support
- Fertiliser blending, logistics, and application planning
- Seasonal planning and product forecasting
- Business systems and point-of-sale operations
- Building strong relationships with local growers and suppliers
- This role is suited to someone who is passionate about agriculture, eager to learn, and motivated to grow into a future leadership position in merchandise or fertiliser management.
What our Graduate Program offers:

What you’ll need to be successful
At Nutrien, we understand that everyone is unique and has a different background. To be considered for our program you will need:
- Graduated prior to the commencement of the 2026 program or no longer than 3 years ago with a minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, a proactive approach, strong communication skills and a passion for agriculture.
- You will be able to demonstrate customer service, problem solving and leadership capabilities.
