What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for providing support and leadership to our sales and livestock administration staff. You will support in branch marketing and administration duties.
- Assist the Branch Manager and peers to identify sales and cross‑selling opportunities
- Ensure professional and prompt customer service is always provided
- Provide Branch support for our large Livestock Agency business
- Manage accounts payable, including expenses and banking
- Oversee accounts receivable and debtor management
- Maintain office supplies and ensure adequate stock levels
- Manage branch finance accounts and identify opportunities for improvement
- Process AP invoicing accurately and efficiently
- Lead and support a small team of Livestock Sales Support and Administration staff
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring experience in both leadership and administration, along with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. A genuine passion for Australian farming and agriculture is essential. You will also demonstrate:
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent computer skills, including SAP, Outlook, Word and Excel, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- A proactive approach to work and strong organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem‑solving ability and the empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve internal processes
- Effective time management skills
