What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting local farmers and producers through trusted agronomic advice and tailored product solutions - both in‑store and on‑farm. In this relationship‑focused role, you will also:
- Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with a healthy portfolio of existing customers, while actively identifying opportunities to grow your client base
- Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses, goals, and seasonal challenges
- Provide timely technical, agronomic and market advice to support productivity, profitability and sustainability
- Coordinate and deliver field days, farm visits and grower meetings, positioning yourself as a trusted subject matter expert in the region
- Stay current with the latest pasture and broadacre production practices and products
- Actively manage your sales activity and call cycles to drive growth and customer value
What You'll Bring:
You’re already known as a trusted agronomic advisor and thrive on building strong customer relationships. You enjoy being field‑based, working autonomously, and contributing to team success.
- Proven experience in Pasture and Broadacre Agronomy
- A solid understanding of agricultural inputs, seasonal cycles and the needs of rural producers
- Demonstrated capability in sales activity management and understanding the sales process
- Strong organisational, administrative and computing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science (or a related discipline)
- Experience providing agronomic advice relating to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser
- A current driver’s licence (essential)
