What You'll Do:

 

Based from our Wynyard branch, this casual Graduate Agronomist role is all about learning by doing. You’ll work alongside experienced agronomists across North West Tasmania, gaining practical exposure to paddock work, grower support, deliveries, store operations, testing, and sample collection while building confidence in the field.

 

  • Shadow experienced agronomists to understand how in-field advice is developed and delivered to growers
  • Assist with paddock work, crop inspections, seasonal activity and general on-farm tasks
  • Support testing and sample collection to help inform agronomy recommendations
  • Help with deliveries, branch activity and store work to build an understanding of local agribusiness operations
  • Develop knowledge across crops, products, seasonal programs and customer service while working closely with the team

 

What You'll Bring:

 

  • A genuine interest in agronomy, crops and building a career in agriculture
  • Currently studying or recently completed or interested in a relevant agriculture, agronomy or crop science qualification
  • A curious, hands-on approach and willingness to learn from experienced agronomists, growers and branch teams
  • Confidence working outdoors, asking questions and getting involved in practical paddock, testing and store-based tasks
  • A team-first attitude and motivation to build local knowledge across the Wynyard and North West Tasmania region
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn systems used across agronomy and branch operations
  • Current driver’s licence
