Part-Time Maintenance Technician I

This position is required to be on-site and is located in Memphis, TN.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the equipment used in production for the laboratory’s daily operation. This includes building maintenance, equipment maintenance, and general laboratory maintenance.

This is a part-time position with 4-10 expected hours/week.

What you will do:

• Monitor building facilities for 100% operation and follow through with preventive procedures.
• Perform and document corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment using manuals, SOPs, specifications, and other workplace aids.
• Use of tools such as drill press, voltmeter, various cutting tools, and other tools related to the building or equipment maintenance.
• Purchase parts as needed subject to manager approval.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
• Other duties as required

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must possess knowledge concepts of materials, equipment and tools characteristic to facilities maintenance.
• Previous related experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
