What You'll Do:

The Misc. Ag Supervisor manages Waypoint's department responsible for various miscellaneous methodologies for analyzing soil. The role requires dedication to processes and systematic management in order to provide quality data to our clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Misc. Ag department, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
  • New employee onboarding and support for HR systems.
  • Time approval and management for employees within the Workforce software.
  • Responsible for Safety solutions within your department.
  • Filling in for employees when needed. Especially during peak seasons.
  • Other duties as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Deep understanding of operational needs (e.g. technical support of laboratory processes and equipment, general agronomic support, and resource management).
  • 3-5 years of lab experience preferred.
  • Excellent people leadership, management and development capabilities.
  • Communication skills that can transverse from science to practical laboratory operations.
  • Project management and coordination.
