What You'll Do:
Seasonal Field Service Technicians are responsible for collecting samples, completing assigned field labor, and ensuring samples are delivered from the fields to the laboratory for analysis. This role is essential for ensuring accurate data collection and data distribution to clients’ software (via the laboratory). Employees are expected to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
These are seasonal positions, projected to start in September and end in December. Locations include: Findlay, OH; Lafayette, IN; Decatur, IL/Springfield, IL; Colby, KS; and Fredricksburg, VA.
- Collect soil/tissue samples and map field boundaries when required, perform other data collection duties per protocol established by company.
- Record all information required for sample submittal or data upload to third party software systems.
- Ensure sample delivery from clients to the laboratory for analysis; delivery includes shipping via UPS or FedEx and/or dropping off directly at the laboratory.
- Be familiar with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements at various locations.
- Clean, maintain, troubleshoot, and program various equipment; including ATVs, trailers, safety equipment and mechanical equipment.
- Relay client concerns to appropriate management or lab personnel.
- Follow instructions, pay attention to details, communicate clearly with management and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- May be required to transport, maintain, and safely operate ATV‘s or UTV’s.

- Other duties as required.
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Have and maintain a mobile phone with the ability to receive calls and texts.
- Valid Driver's License required. Able to drive for extended periods (4+ hours daily).
- Able to utilize mobile devices (tablets) and navigate applications to complete in-field work.
- Able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
