Title:  Sales Lead - 12 month contract

Established in 1970, the Combined Rural Traders group incorporates both the CRT and Town & Country businesses. We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a driven Sales Lead to join the team.

 

About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the National Sales Lead Manager on a 12-month contract, this is a customer focused role managing the allocated relationships with our CRT / Town and Country retailers across West Australia.  

 

  • You will be responsible for driving sales campaigns across all categories of our business
  • You will capture sales results, analyse data and optimize campaigns/strategies to drive business outcomes
  • You will work collaboratively with the Customer Service Team to improve the customer experience and resolve issues as they arise.
  • You will also work in conjunction with the Divisional Manager to communicate relevant supplier updates, commercial offers, profit opportunities, rebate and pricing information to your customer base.
  • You will be involved in Regional meetings

 

About You:

 

  • To be successful you must possess strong experience within a category sales role ideally gained from the retail and/or supplier sides of the agricultural industry
  • Specific knowledge in plant nutrition, crop protection and adjuvants would be advantageous
  • You will have strong knowledge of sales process and best practice methodologies
  • With strong analytical and reporting skills, you can demonstrate the ability to analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvements. 
  • You will demonstrate strong computer skills, ideally including MS Excel, SAP or a similar ERP system. 
  • You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to foster solid long-term relationships as you will be required to communicate with customers and key internal stakeholders to influence and drive outcomes in line with business strategies.
