About the opportunity:

 

This role is accountable for the development and execution of Nutrien’s Key Account strategy.  Through strategic account management, the role will drive sustainable growth of the segment through a differentiated approach to key customer acquisition, retention and account development. 

 

Your responsibilities will include;

 

  • Develop Nutrien’s Key Account Management strategy.
  • Lead our team of Key Account Manager’s to deliver on the agreed strategy, growing the portfolio through customer acquisition, retention and development. 
  • Identification of trends effecting the key account landscape.
  • Ownership of end-to-end key account management processes to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to each product category, including the encouragement of safe working practices.

 

About you

  • Superior communication skills, including with senior executives and managers across both external customer and internal cross-functional audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian agriculture landscape, including the corporate and large customer landscape.
  • Strategic acumen, with demonstrated experience developing strategic plans that balance short and long-term priorities.
  • Senior leadership experience in a commercial or supporting functional role.  Demonstrated leadership effectiveness within a matrixed structure highly desirable.
  • Superior negotiation skills.
  • Value-based selling expertise, with a demonstrated ability to communicate value both strategically and financially to a target audience.
