About the opportunity: 


As a valued member of the National Marketing team, you will work closely with employees across the North East region in close collaboration with the Regional Director, to support the development and execution of marketing plans across all divisional portfolios. This role will support our high performing business in the NE region and will be a commercially astute leader with the ability to build and nurture prosperous professional relationships and empower the team to continually drive results. You will have a focus on commercial activities and provide an exceptional experience for our Nutrien Ag Solutions customers.


In addition, you will;


  • Build and execute the Regional Marketing plan for the North East region including National, Global and product/service focussed content to deliver reach, engagement, and ROI
  • Work closely with the Data & Insights team to analyse data and identify new opportunities for emerging business and new market share in local regions
  • Work closely with the National Procurement Managers to identify seasonality, product mix and key supplier partners to develop regional supplier co-operative marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with Regional Category Managers to develop marketing initiatives and campaigns to aid in the achievement of sales targets for supplier and white label products
  • Make data-driven decisions when framing hypotheses, determining product-market fit, customer behaviour tracking; using spend data to anticipate trends and opportunities by region
  • Working closely with the Customer Content Manager and Customer Experience Manager to deliver branch-centric content, and to support branches with regional email campaigns
  • Undertake post campaign analysis, optimisation and reporting for key stakeholders to drive marketing. excellence and seek continuous improvement for marketing initiatives
  • Quarterly reporting to Regional Director, Marketing Director and Head of Brand on the execution and results delivered by the National Marketing campaigns.
  • Identify local opportunities for community engagement and assist branches in planning and executing their presence at these events
  • Understand the target market for each service area and build micro content strategies that engage and respond to the needs of diverse audiences across business practices
  • Understand and develop localised activity to support growth in local area market share including increased basket size, increased penetration, increased frequency or maintenance of customer database and loyalty program initiatives
  • Please note, there is an expectation of regional and interstate travel within this role



    About you: 


    To be successful you must be an experienced and committed marketing professional, with a minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. marketing, public relations, communications, or a related discipline). You will ideally have previous experience or an affinity with the agricultural industry.

    • Experience in multi-disciplinary organisations with complex product and service portfolios
    • Ability to work in high-pressure environments with the capability to balance tight deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail
    • Ability to travel when required
