We are seeking a Sales Specialist to provide support to our agronomy and livestock production clients.  What a great place to learn and develop your career!

 

 

About the Opportunity:

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for driving opportunities for sales growth within the livestock production & agronomy category with a focus on mixed farming including cropping, animal health, nutrition, and pastures, both on farm and in store throughout your specified territory.  This is a customer facing role with a key focus on developing strong customer relationships, understanding the needs of your individual customers, managing positive relationships, and supporting customers with the achievement of their business goals.  Keeping up to date with the market, you will be required to identify trends and sales strategies and work collaboratively with customers to drive business outcomes for the grower.

 

 

About You:                                                                                  

 

This role would suit an Ag/Rural scientist who demonstrates hands-on practical experience either in a previous role in rural merchandise sales or some exposure to agronomy & animal production. You will be open to further learning and be keen to develop your knowledge around the requirements of building solid long-term customer relations and offering advice and knowledge to producers to enable them to achieve their own business goals. You will demonstrate initiative and strong verbal communication skills.
