Title:  Administration Manager

We currently have a great opportunity for a driven Administration Manager to support our Lockhart team with all branch administrative activities and functions. We are open to flexible hours and part-time work for the relevant candidate.

 

 

About the opportunity:

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the focus of your role will be to support the branch with all administrative activities and functions, as well as;

 

  • Provide guidance where required to the branch staff with any issues/ concerns
  • Assist with general administration of company policies and procedures
  • Generate reports as requested
  • Process accounts payable and release purchase orders
  • Implement and maintain the daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure procedures are being followed
  • Actively promote EHS initiatives and oversee implementation of the EHS business plan
  • Assist with budget administration and preparation
  • Management of stock take processes within the branch

 

 

About You:

 

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in an administrative role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:

 

  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience undertaking a broad range of administrative and accounting tasks including debtor management, reporting, & collection, interpreting P& L performance and identifying areas for improvement in cost control
  • An ability to identify and implement administrative processes and procedures that make the business more efficient and profitable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in merchandise and fertiliser preferable
  • Strong capabilities across Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel as well as experience using SAP
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of core accounting principles including interpreting, managing, and reconciling a general ledger and performing month end intercompany processes.
  • Practical organisation and good communication skills coupled with the ability to relate to people at all levels.
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Capacity to work unsupervised
