Protect, maintain, and grow the relationship with our key customer base for Northern Queensland across the seed stock industry.

 

 

A typical day may look like:

 

Manage high value and lower value customers and coordinate customer requirements as well as facilitate identified opportunities across all activities with the aim of protecting, maintaining, and growing the whole business. In addition, you will;

 

  • Identify client needs, ensure they are met and manage after sales service
  • Proactively develop effective multi-level and multi-activity relationships with key customers across the business
  • Develop and implement an appropriate business plan for assigned customers to retain and / or grow revenue, profitability, and CPI and to build and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the nature and character of each customer is captured systematically in CMS and other customer databases.
  • Ensure customer plans are up to date, including, benchmarks, targets, call plans, CVI, etc.
  • Expand the number of products and services bought by each customer by proactively generating leads in other activities and assisting sales staff to cross sell their products and services.
  • Provide a professional service to all clients, suppliers, and the business.
  • Promote and develop business growth and the company profile by proactively identifying opportunities, canvassing customers, promoting company services, products, and initiatives across all activities.
  • Promote and represent Nutrien Ag Solutions at relevant industry meetings, conferences and seminars, in-store days, etc.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and key regional industry personnel.
  • Provide market intelligence on industry trends, marketing trends, competitor activities and strategies, etc.
  • Assist in the planning and budgeting processes as required

 

 

What we'll love about you:

 

To be successful you will have a 5-10 years’ experience within a livestock role and have a passion for the seed stock industry. In addition, you will have;

 

  • Relevant state licences, registrations and accreditations including a current QLD Chattel Auctioneer licence
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Current Auctions Plus accreditation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
