The Material Handler will assist with the operation of multiple loading racks consisting of a truck loading rack, rail rack, by performing loading/unloading activities. Loaders will rotate into a work team of Bulk Loaders, to handle loading and unloading of railcars and tanker trucks. What you will do:

• Assist with terminal / distribution operations by performing loading and unloading hazardous chemicals (nitric Acid, Anhydrous Ammonia, etc.) via truck and tanker/hopper rail car.
• Rehandle off-spec product. Mix, heat, filter, and pull samples to ensure product conformity.
• Assist operations with tank alignment with transfers of hazardous chemicals for proper valve alignment, sampling techniques, safety exposures, environmental consideration, and follow Standard operating procedures.
• Monitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site.
• Assist with terminal maintenance duties as needed, maintaining equipment in operating condition.
• Pull samples as per Standard Operating Procedure for chemical analysis to guarantee product integrity.
• Input information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating Procedure, load out activities, and tank production/spec information.
• Load trucks, railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units.
• Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailers.
• Heavy Machinery operations (Front End Loader & Dump Truck)
• Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise.

What you will bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in handling Liquid and Dry products for agricultural and industrial use is preferred.
